National PTA Reflections welcomes all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Annually, thousands of students will reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. 

 

Galena Park Middle School is proud to announce that Angelica Rivera's Reflections entry, Peer Pressure, has been advanced to state-level judging! This is a wonderful achievement as nearly 60,000 students participate in the program annually and less than 3% of those advance to Texas PTA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peer Pressure by Angelica Rivera
"The video is about a boy who is dealing with peer pressure. He is slowly going insane and he doesn’t know what to do about it. That is, until this girl helps him deal with his problems, and he sticks with her so he can be sane.  What inspired me to do this project was because I was once in that situation, and I do not want to see other people deal with the same problem I had."
